Global Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer
Carlos Cubia is the Global Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for Walgreens Boots Alliance. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise-wide Diversity and Inclusion strategies. As a member of the Global Human Resources Leadership team, he operates worldwide with responsibilities for effecting positive change across a workforce of 380,000+ employees. As the leader for Walgreens Boots Alliance Global Diversity and Inclusion Center of Excellence, he also has responsibility for driving strategies that promote recruitment, talent development, performance and succession planning. Finally, he manages a team of professionals that have responsibility for vendor and supplier diversity, affirmative action and EEOC compliance, and Walgreens Boots Alliance “business resource groups”. He is a 20+ year veteran of corporate America and has held positions as VP of sales, VP of account management and VP of public affairs for various Fortune 500 companies.
